I woke up at 4am, turned to MTV and saw this story at the bottom and had to re report it lol. Chris Brown and Frank Ocean got into a huge fight a few hours ago... Over a parking spot lol. Frank Ocean, Chris Brown and their respective entourages engaged in a brawl Sunday night, though further details remain unclear. TMZ initially reported that the fight occurred in the parking lot of a Los Angeles recording studio, when Ocean blocked Brown from pulling out of a spot. Sources close to Brown told the site that the singer attempted to shake Ocean's hand, which led to pushing between the groups and eventually a brawl. Later, the New York Post reported that witnesses said Brown threw the first punch. Brown had left the scene by the time police arrived, but Ocean was still there.
Authorities are investigating the situation; TMZ first reported that neither side wanted to press charges, but the Post quotes an LAPD official saying that Ocean is "desirous of prosecution." Ocean later tweeted about the fight, saying that he was jumped by Brown and several others and that he cut his finger and would be unable to perform with two hands at the Grammys on Feb. 10.
The pair have feuded before. In 2011, Ocean took exception when Brown said "I f--- with Frank Ocean" and compared him to songwriters James Fauntleroy and Kevin Cossom. He fired back, saying Brown was reminiscent of R&B acts Sisqo and the late Ike Turner.
