The South is known for good music. Behind good music comes good artists, producers, etc. Behind a good song comes a good show and behind EVERY good show there is a dope ass DJ controlling the turntables like its their only mission in life. Where I'm from, we have a few deejays who damn sure show up and show out at events like DJ Bassel, DJ Twenty Grand and a few more in particular (not named but definitely noted!) But I've done quite a few shows with this guy, and all I can say is he will set the stage on fire and give the crowd exactly what they want. His name is DJ Hi$e.
Blake "DJ Hi$e" Hise is one of Chattanooga/North Georgia's dopest up and coming deejays to come on the scene. I remember our first performance together at The Barking Legs Theater for a Halloween show... Shut it down. I've worked with a few deejays in my career, but Hi$e has psychic powers when it comes to putting on a show. His techniques are impeccable, drops always on cue, and the attentiveness displayed between him and the artist on stage during a performance is without a doubt, flawless.
Between kicking shows and parties around the Southeast with talent like DJ Bassel, Natural Habitz, Strata-G, J-Flo and of course myself and Atlas Studios, DJ Hi$e is one of the fastest up and comers the city has seen in a while. His styles are sporadic and differentiate based on the crowd demographics and what's hot on the airwaves, he pumps that shit outta those speakers like it's nobody's business. DJ Hi$e has performed at several functions and events, and is on the way to building a credible library of hosted mixtapes and compilations including Mixxtape 21, featuring the one and only D.R.P.
