Happy Easter! It's definitely been a pretty good day on my side of the world because I went Easter Egg hunting with my son, so it couldn't get much better than that/ Hope everyone had a good day and remembered the TRUE reason why we're celebrating (no, it's not the Easter Bunny either.) If you're able to read this post, you have a lot to be thankful for simply because you were given another day to do all over, so be grateful!
On to the next topic, everyone should have their TV's tuned to BET on Tuesdays for the all new season of The Game. The first episode was CRAZY, so the rest of the season is sure to shock and awe. Be on the lookout for Jasmine Watson (vE' Modeling cover model) to appear in episode 5 playing one of Lauren London's friends in a club scene. I'm hella proud of the things that Jasmine has accomplished thus far, and I can see such a bright future for her in the film and modeling industry. New pictures from her downtown photo shoot will be released on her Facebook fan page and blog this Wednesday, so make sure you check those out and get an eyeful of the South's up and coming supermodel.
Business has been pretty good to the D.R.P. Muzik/Atlas Studios companies as we have embarked on quite a few new endeavors with some great partnering companies. Be prepared to get your copy of the exclusive Mixxtape 21: Smoke Stack Edition. The project features 5 new songs plus a special gift. Release date was originally set for March 21st but due to renegotiations being made, it's to be determined until further notice but I promise I won't keep you waiting long. Jasmine and I also have an upcoming interview with local entertainment web developers Chattsounds.com They feature some of the hottest artists on the city, spanning all genres and leaving no stones unturned in the search for the best. I've been trying for the last few months to get in contact with them to set something up and it's finally official, so shout out to ChattSounds.com for making it happen and showing us mad love.
I'm not sure if you guys remember me working with a young lady by the name of Chassidy Wilkins a few years ago. She was helping with the concert booking and overall just a MAJOR asset to the team when everyone else jumped ship... and she's back and on her shit! Clicking up with her new booking and marketing team "Hipster Dynasty," we have already begun to plan some of the biggest and most elaborate events to hit the South. Our first official event is set to be on June 1st at a Mansion Party in Atlanta, Ga. (details to be released at a later date.) Make sure you stay tuned in for that, as well as new deets on other upcoming events and projects from Atlas Studios, vE' Modeling and Hipster Dynasty.
