I wanted to stop by tonight and leak a lil bit more information on the upcoming projects, the updates on my and my teammates' careers and the highlights of our journey thus far. I've truly been putting forth as much of an effort as possible to oversee the success of my company and teammates, and business is good. First off, the lovely miss Jasmine Watson has been selected as one of a few for a casting call to one of the biggest beauty companies ON THE PLANET, so let's cross fingers and pray she gets it. She has truly been an honor to work with. Her talent exceeds expectation with out of this world confidence to boot. Hip hop extraordinaire Hood Mane is on the rise in the industry. After signing with new manager Nina Ross of Nashville, Hood has been working nonstop on his new mixtape due to be released very soon. This mixtape has been under wraps for quite some time, perfecting the songs and concepts all the while going through musical transitions that in the end, bring out a better artist than you and I have ever heard. Hood Mane is gearing up for some major shows and releases soon, so stay tuned.
What has ya boy been up to? Man, everything but nothing! I am literally spreading myself thin across the boards with so many projects underway. The biggest news since Mixxtape 21 is my very first book that'll be published and released in Mid-December. It's a children's Christmas book entitled "No Peeking," and it tells the story of a young kid named Danny DoWright who has been on his best behavior this Christmas season all in the hopes of getting one gift he really wants this year. Problems arise when Danny's older brother and sister tell him a story of Santa Claus not being real and his presents being locked away in his parents' room. His curiosity brings him to do the unthinkable and take a peek inside his parents' room, and what he sees will change his outlook on Christmas forever. The story itself is for toddlers on up to early readers, so feel free to grab a copy and snuggle up with your little one as you join Danny on his quest to find out the truth about Christmas presents and what lies behind his parents' bedroom door. The illustrations are being completed as we speak and the book will be ready to distribute a few weeks before Christmas in local stores around Chattanooga and Atlanta as well as online on the Google Play Store and Amazon Bookstore.
I hope yall are as excited about all of this as I am because as always, a lot of hard work has been put into making these projects possible. I appreciate all of the love and support still being shown, real talk. It's just a matter of time before the last boarding call is heard and we begin to ascend and take flight onto another field of life.
